INTRODUCTION TO CHP FACULTY AND STAFF

The Center for Health Policy Faculty and Staff work diligently to attack the cutting edge policy questions in health optimization and health disparities through the disciplinary lenses of such fields as psychology, law, epidemiology, sociology, anthropology, econometrics, social work, medicine, nursing, and business.

During the 2008 year, the Center for Health Policy faculty and staff taught classes, conducted research, published books, wrote grant proposals, guided students, wrote peer-reviewed journal articles, and promoted the workings of the Center for Health Policy. Within the Duke Community, over the past 4 years, CHP faculty and staff have been instructors for approximately 37 Duke listed courses, mentored 15 independent studies, and sponsored 8 senior theses, 35 Masters Projects/ Internship and 20 PhD Dissertations.
