To address the growing problem of health care inequalities, Duke is educating future leaders who come to global health with a broad range of interests.

The Duke Global Health Institute works closely with every school at Duke to bring interdisciplinary wisdom to bear on global health efforts. We strive to expose undergraduate and graduate students not only to academic information about global health, but also to the social issues that affect health. Similarly, we make every effort to ensure that health care providers of the future are well informed about global health issues and how they affect society.
