Duane Gubler to Head Duke-NUS GMS Emerging Infectious Diseases Research Program

Duane Gubler, an internationally recognized expert on dengue fever, has taken on the post of Director – Emerging Infectious Diseases research program at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School in Singapore.  His appointment was effective Nov. 1, 2007.

Dr. Gubler comes to Duke-NUS GMS from the University of Hawaii Asia-Pacific Institute of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases, where he has served since 2004. Dr. Gubler will maintain a faculty position at the University of Hawaii. Before that, he served with the CDC for 15 years.  Read more (Word document)...
