Progress Report: Training a New Generation of Doctors in Tanzania

More than two years after being awarded a $10 million grant from the US government, The Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre and the Duke Global Health Institute have made strides in strengthening medical education in Tanzania. Through the KCMC-Duke Medical Education Partnership Initiative, collaborators have advanced teaching and research using information technology, which has already begun to transform the learning experience of Tanzanian medical students.
