Global Health Exchange: Elizabeth Kiboneka

Dr. Kiboneka is Consultant Pediatrician and Head of the Mwanamugimu Nutrition Unit at the Mulago Hospital and Complex in Kampala, Uganda. She holds a MA in Medicine in Pediatrics and Child Health, an Advanced Diploma Health Services Management, and a MBChB in Medicine and Surgery. In addition, she has two certificates in District Health Management and Nutrition Policy Analysis and Advocacy. Her work involves clinical care for the severely malnourished children, including emergency clinical care, nutritional rehabilitation, routine counseling and testing for HIV/AIDS and ART treatment, nutrition education and counseling of care takers, and play stimulation.
