Bob Black, Chairman and Edgar Berman Professor in International Health, John Hopkins, will present the seventh University Seminar on Global Health for 2008-2009. He will speak on child nutrition.

The event is free, but registration is appreciated to help ensure adequate seating.

This lecture series is an important component of the Duke Global Health Institute’s effort to bring together a multi-disciplinary group of faculty and students from both the University and Duke Medicine and expand the interest and knowledge of global health.  Speakers for the 2008-09 series are leading figures in global health from Duke and other major universities.  The seminar series is co-sponsored by the Duke Global Health Institute and the Duke University Center for International Studies.

All seminars take place at 4:30 pm at the John Hope Franklin Center at Duke University. Free parking is available across the street in the Pickens Clinic lot. Light refreshments will be served.
