Dan Schmitt, Professor in Biological Anthropology at Duke University will present the sixth University Seminar on Global Health for 2008-2009.

The event is free, but registration is appreciated to help ensure adequate seating.

This lecture series is an important component of the Duke Global Health Institute’s effort to bring together a multi-disciplinary group of faculty and students from both the University and Duke Medicine and expand the interest and knowledge of global health.  Speakers for the 2008-09 series are leading figures in global health from Duke and other major universities.  The seminar series is co-sponsored by the Duke Global Health Institute and the Duke University Center for International Studies.

All seminars take place at 4:30 pm at the John Hope Franklin Center at Duke University. Free parking is available across the street in the Pickens Clinic lot. Light refreshments will be served.
