Global Health Journal Club

WHAT?

A monthly brown-bag journal club sponsored by the Duke Global Health Institute to discuss current (and sometimes controversial) articles related to global health research, policy, current events, initiatives, methods, and findings.

A small planning committee will select articles for the entire semester and these will be posted online. At the first Journal Club meeting on Sept. 15th, a sheet will be circulated for participants to sign up to facilitate* one journal club meeting per year.

*Facilitation responsibilities include: reading the article and coming to journal club prepared to provide a brief synopsis of the main points or findings, present discussion questions, and facilitate group discussion.
