Duke Medical Student Reflects on Global Health Research Project in India
Fourth-year medical student Janeil Belle has a new appreciation for the work of rural surgeons following her year-long research project in Pune, India.
Belle’s research examined the differences between rural and urban surgical practices. She received funding from the Duke Global Health Institute to complete her third-year medical school research project in global health.
