Joao Ricardo Nickenig Vissoci
Dr. Vissoci is a psychologist with a PhD in Social Psychology currently working as a postdoc associate at Duke University, in the Duke Global Health Institute, within the Duke Global Neurosurgery and Neuroscience (DGNN) division. His research interests include in Research methods and innovation, and Global mental health with emphasis on mental health reintegration through community therapy and sports practice. Dr. Vissoci has actively worked in Brazil looking into health systems and quality of care; Tanzania and Uganda with focus on traumatic brain injury mental health reintegration.
