Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing in The Peoples Republic of China: Ethical and Practical Barriers

Project Objectives

This project is designed to build relationships with prenatal providers, test distributors, and health regulators in China and to assess barriers to safe and equitable implementation of noninvasive prenatal testing, particularly in low-income populations. Due to the importance placed on face-to-face interaction in China, and logistical difficulties like language barriers and time zone differentials, travel to China is essential to foster these relationships and encourage network development.
