Education

Global health education and training programs through DGHI crosses disciplines, geographic borders and levels of learners. It emphasizes problem-based and experiential learning. It also explores the transfer and bi-directional flow of innovation between Duke and international institutions worldwide.

In addition to a growing portfolio of educational programs offered in Durham, DGHI works with collaborators like the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre in Tanzania, the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and the Human Resources for Health (HRH) Program in Rwanda to train both Duke and non-Duke students and professionals to address global health challenges of today and tomorrow.
