Religion

In African communities torn apart by violence, war and growing health disparities, the challenges are vast but community leaders are calling for change. DGHI faculty and staff are part of a collaboration with the Duke Divinity School, which works to inspire and support religious leaders in their pursuit of peace, development and health.

Building leadership skills among African religious leaders and health professionals has been the focus of an interdisciplinary partnership between DGHI, the Divinity School and the Fuqua School of Business to address health challenges in Africa.
