The purpose of this symposium is to determine the risks and provide solutions to minimize toxicity from chemical exposures around the globe.  This will be approached thematically by examining toxic risks, which accompany the essentials for life common to us all: Clean Air, Pure Water and Safe Food.  With each there will be a discussion of the overall issues and efforts to reduce toxic risk as well as examination of a specific problem of toxic risk and how that is being solved. By integrating scientific understanding of the toxicological problems which we are all face and international political processes to help address them we can take a comprehensive approach to successfully managing toxic risks for global health.
