Who's Involved

Global health issues are complex. That is why we reach out to partner and work with people from many areas — at Duke and around the world.

Institutional Partners: The Duke Global Health Institute has formal partnerships with several programs at Duke to promote research, education and service.

Duke Global Health Institute Faculty Members: Faculty who are highly engaged in major efforts of the Institute. Members serve three-year (renewable) terms.

Duke Global Health Faculty Affiliates: Faculty who are involved in one or more global health projects with the Institute. Affiliates serve one-year (renewable) terms.

Field Sites: Duke Global Health Institute works closely with communities to build local capacity for care, research and education.

Duke Schools and Programs: A wealth of programs at Duke intersect with global health efforts.

Students: Student passion for global health helped launch the Duke Global Health Institute.

Faculty Involved in Global Health:There are many faculty involved in global health efforts in education, research, policy, or service at Duke. This list includes DGHI Members and Affiliates, as well as those faculty not formally associated with the Duke Global Health Institute.
