In 2008, the Master of Science in Global Health at Duke was one of the first programs of its kind in the United States. Today, the innovative program continues to thrive with its growing base of top-notch students, alumni and faculty. The program focuses on building research skills, field research experiences, and a tailored curriculum -- and is signaling a new paradigm in global health education and training.

In its fifth year, the MSc-GH at Duke has trained nearly 100 global health leaders who now hold positions with an impressive array of top global health and public health organizations, including the World Health Organization. Read more about our alumni as they share their stories and perspective on the MSc-GH Blog, including alumna Dorothy Dow who is pursuing a career in pediatrics.
