The CDC and the Public Health Training Network are offering a six-part web series, “A Call to Action for Leaders: The crisis of HIV/AIDS Among African Americans.” The first three 30-minute segments will be available beginning June 30, 2008.  All six segments will be available after November 30, 2008.  A free DVD of the series will also be available.

The goal of this series is to increase awareness and sustainable, collaborative action by African American leaders regarding the crisis of HIV/AIDS among African American communities and families. Examples of innovative strategies by leaders and available resources will be highlighted. Each part in this series is a 30-minute segment, completely pre-recorded and available online beginning June 30, 2008. Potential viewers of this Web Series should include all leaders where African Americans live, work, play, learn, and worship, including traditional institutions that serve African Americans.
