We're all sharing the same planet, says Gavin Yamey, associate director for policy at the Duke Global Health Institute.

"It's in our collective interest as an international community to share vaccination doses," he says, repeating a well-known mantra among public health professionals that goes: "an outbreak anywhere is an outbreak everywhere."
