Amy works closely with DGHI faculty and staff, along with the central development teams at Duke and Duke Health, to build on our success in fundraising during the past 12 years. She brings more than a dozen years of experience in higher-education development, including seven at the University of Georgia—where she rose from being an advancement researcher to working on leadership giving for UGA’s College of Family and Consumer Sciences—and five years as director of development for the College of Arts & Letters at the University of North Georgia. Before starting her career in development, Amy worked for nearly a decade in patient services and medical social work, so she is well versed in health systems and issues of health disparity.
