Mohamed Mustafa Diab

Policy Associate

Mohamed is a physician with advanced training (MPH) in global health. He comes to us from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF's) Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies. His expertise are in the areas costing, cost-effectiveness analysis, systematic review, and meta-analysis. He was a member of the data and analytics team at the Global Health Cost Consortium (GHCC), a multi-university consortium funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to assemble existing cost estimates for HIV and TB interventions in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC).

At the center Mohamed will be playing a key role in the development of an investment case for a variety of pooled financing mechanisms to fund late-stage product development for diseases of poverty in LMICs.
