Qian Xu


Xu is professor and chair of the Maternal and Child Health Department at the School of Public Health at Fudan University. She also directs the Fudan Global Health Institute. Xu studies various aspects of women and child health, including family planning, mother's mouth wash for a baby's health, rural health service and insurance, childhood obesity prevention, and multidisciplinary approaches to reproductive health. She has received several honors for her work, including the Shanghai Distinguished Women Award in 2011.
