Margaret supports Evidence Lab studies on Integrated Mothers and Babies Courses/Early Childhood Development programs run by Catholic Relief Services in Kenya and Ghana. As a graduate student at DGHI, Margaret primarily supported the CFAR-funded pilot study, Adolescent Wellness Visits in Tanzania, to increase HIV testing and counseling. Margaret graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland with a degree in religious studies in 2013. Her previous global health work has been in India studying the role of Muslim leaders in polio eradication and supporting programming for adolescent girls at the Comprehensive Rural Health Project in Jamkhed, Maharashtra. Prior to starting her master's degree at DGHI, she was a clinical research assistant consenting and surveying patients for the UNC Health Registry at Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
