Jenny Terese Camp

Working under the leadership of Dr. Chris Plowe and Dr. Myaing Nyunt, Terese manages multiple research labs focusing on malaria molecular surveillance in Southeast Asia, including labs in Myanmar, Bangladesh and China. With more than 20 years of experience managing labs in basic and translational research, she is excited to have the opportunity to apply these methods to global health issues. Terese has a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
To start a conversation with me: Ask me about orchids native to North Carolina. I enjoy hiking and growing plants and have been photographing the orchids in North Carolina.
Something interesting most people don't know about me: I play drums with the North Carolina State University Pipes and Drums, a local Scottish bagpipe band.
