Documenting the Holistic Community Development Model for Development of Cambodian Children (DCC)

Development for Cambodian Children (DCC) is a community-based organization in Battambang, Cambodia dedicated to empowering local children and teenagers through education, environmental stewardship, community development, and sports. The organization also supports families in need with initiatives such as food distribution and housing assistance. Since 2002, DCC has implemented a holistic model that includes youth, their families, and the broader community to promote community development and intergenerational well-being.

Students will help DCC document its distinctive approach, providing evidence of outcomes, and identifying opportunities to strengthen program evaluation and future development. Students will gain practical experience in global health research while learning how providing holistic services including education, technology, and environmental stewardship combine to create pathways toward long-term success for children and their communities.
