Nicholas Pearson is the founder and CEO of Jacaranda Health, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of maternal health care in East Africa by developing better tools and systems to achieve high quality patient-centered care in low-resource settings. Jacaranda Health is a member of Innovations in Healthcare and the Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator at Duke.

Pearson mentors Duke students and collaborates with Duke faculty members undertaking projects at Jacaranda Health and gives ad-hoc lectures at DGHI on topics such as social enterprise, impact measurement and human-centered design. He received his MBA at the University of California at Berkeley, Walter Haas School of Business.
