Where We Work

DGHI faculty, staff and students are engaged in research and educational projects in more than 40 countries, including the United States. In several of these countries, DGHI has built longstanding, bilateral collaborations with local institutions and organizations, including Duke-affiliated partners such as Duke Kunshan University in China and the Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore.

Currently, DGHI maintains priority partnerships within these countries:

Global Is Local

An important part of DGHI’s approach to global health is that it is not limited by geography. As part of DGHI’s strategic plan, the institute is committed to advancing global health research and educational efforts that are focused on health issues and vulnerable populations in the Durham community, as well as other communities throughout North Carolina and the southern United States.
