About the speaker:

Nancy Andrews, MD, PhD
Nancy Andrews has been Dean of the Duke University School of Medicine and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs since October 2007.  She is also Nanaline H. Duke Professor of Pediatrics and Professor of Pharmacology & Cancer Biology.

Prior to coming to Duke, Dr. Andrews was the George Richards Minot Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, Senior Associate in Medicine at Children’s Hospital Boston, and a Distinguished Physician of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Andrews also served as director of the Harvard-MIT MD-PhD Program and dean for Basic Sciences and Graduate Studies at Harvard Medical School.
