John Gaines III provides administrative support for the director and leadership of the Duke Global Health Institute. He joined DGHI in September 2022 after serving as assistant to the chair of the Department of Cell Biology in the Duke School of Medicine. Prior to coming to Duke, he worked at MIT, where he supported professors in mechanical, biological, and chemical engineering.
