Jia Yao
Statistician II
Since 2011, Jia has been working with the Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research (CHPIR), namely on and the Clergy Health Initiative (CHI) team, as a data manager and statistical analyst. She manages the CHI Statewide Longitudinal Survey database and other clergy health databases, as well as analyzes clergy well-being data using statistical approaches, in collaboration with CHI teammates. On the dissemination side, her work contributes to reports for funders and the community, peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference presentations. Of note, she is a member of the CHI Writing Group in which researchers across the US and internationally meet regularly to help each other turn research findings on clergy well-being into academic publications.
