Xinyu Zhang received her PhD in Social Medicine and Health Management from School of Public Health, Fudan University. Her work focuses on health economics and health policy. She has explored the impacts of the case-based payment system in China on the costs and quality of healthcare during her PhD study. Her postdoctoral research will explore the hospital response to the case-based payment system reform in Shanghai, China (especially the patient selection effect) led by Professor Shenglan Tang.
