Assessment and Planning of COVID-19 Vaccination Sites: A Mathematical Modeling and Simulation Approach

Project overview

The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in a massive loss of life and economic damage to human society. To control and minimize the spread of the COVID-19, vaccination among the population to achieve herd immunity is important. However, achieving large-scale vaccination among the population in a short period is a challenge. The understanding of the vaccination capacity of different vaccination sites is important for vaccination efficiency improvement and large-scale vaccination implementation. This study aims to evaluate the different vaccination sites' vaccination capacity toward the general population, improve vaccination capacity, and propose policy recommendations for future vaccination planning. The time-motion method, simulation modeling, and mathematics method will be used to evaluate vaccination sites' vaccination capacity and optimal vaccination strategy.
