Factors of Risk and Protection for Ebola Exposure in Health Care Workers, Kinshasa Province, Democratic Republic of Congo
Project overview
Our long term goal is to prevent asymptomatic or paucisymtpomatic infection and spread of Ebola virus disease (EVD) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This may lead to insights on other viruses that present asymptomatically. Our objective for this analysis is to:
- identify risk and protective factors for asymptomatic/paucisymtpomatic EVD in health care workers (HCWs) from Kinshasa province of DRC
- compare our findings to previously identified risk factors for HCWs in Boende, DRC
