Sandy is the data manager for the Duke Obesity Prevention Program (DOPP). In this role, she works to implement high quality data collection and management practices in the DOPP's research studies beginning with study design all the way through data analysis and reporting. The DOPP's research includes an emphasis on exploring new technologies both for obesity prevention and as research tools. Sandy supports these efforts in innovation by coordinating with research investigators and staff and technology experts to develop advanced systems of data collection and intervention implementation. She also serves as liaison with collaborators from other institutions for data related issues. Sandy has an MPH with a concentration in Biostatistics from Boston University.
